BBC Singers with Adrian Scarborough

Dickens at Christmas

“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humour.”
(Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol)

The much cherished BBC Singers join Adrian Scarborough for a celebration of festive writings by famed novelist Charles Dickens - the author who has done more than any other to shape our image of the traditions of a Victorian Christmas. Interwoven with readings from Dickens’s Christmas writings is a selection of carols from this century and the last. Join the BBC Singers for a Yuletide treat and a toast to the group’s 100th anniversary - "God bless us, every one!"
