VOCES8’s Christmas sequence takes you on a journey from darkness to light, celebrating the season with its customary panache. The programme takes its title from Morten Lauridsen’s most renowned work, O Magnum Mysterium, which features alongside other treasured pieces such as John Tavener’s The Lamb, Will Todd’s My Lord Has Come, and the Corpus Christi Carol. VOCES8 welcomes extraordinary treble Malakai Bayoh to join them for a special performance and you’ll be introduced to premieres of new works by Christopher Moore (VOCES8 baritone), Paul Smith and Francis Pott.
